Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Lee Mark Stafford-Gill (Lee or Mark is just fine). I live in the North East of England, UK, close to the City of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I got my first Shih Tzu in 2008 and since then have fallen in love with the breed.
I knew from day one Shih Tzu were the breed for me. I have carried out extensive research into the Shih Tzu breed, learning from books, breed related internet sites,TV programmes, other breeders and even from social networking sites.
I pride myself on the love and attention which I give my dogs, and also the time in which I have put into gaining knowledge of the Shih Tzu Breed and understanding it.
We do not over breed our Dam's therefore our litters may be few and far between, but regardless of whether the Dam be KC or DLRC registered our chosen stud will always be KC registered.
All our Mothers live with us in our home and are vet checked regularly, no Bitch will be mated against our Vet's advice. Each pup will be re-homed to their new family home after being vet checked and wormed, and they will also come to you with a puppy pack and advice sheet. Your new pup will be weaned, socialised with our other dogs (We have a Labrador and a Jack Russell cross type too). Your pup will have been introduced to puppy pad training.
From choosing a Stud dog, through mating and pregnancy, from whelping to weaning, your potential Soykaze Pup will be bred with one important factor in mind; to better the breed and maintain a high standard of Shih Tzu and raised with the upmost care and attention, hopefully passing onto you the pup of your dreams; be it pet, potential show or to carry on breeding yourself. History of project
In January 2012 I decided to set up a Shih Tzu Group on Facebook a place for lover's and like minded people to share experience, stories and where advice could be readily available to both myself and others. Since then the group has grown and we now have a wide range of expertise, from Show Judges to Breeders to dog lover's and owners. Noone can profess to know it all, and there are breeders out there with far more years experience than myself, however a site such as Facebook give's us all a chance to learn and develop our knowledge thanks to the help of others and resources available to us.
